Whew!
This is the first moment I've had to just sit and collect my thoughts!
Hang on - let me savor this for a moment...OK Savoring moment over.
So, for those of you who didn't catch Daybreak this morning, I had to pull double duty -- news and weather.
It was so fun! Busy - but fun.
I guess I will always be a weather geek at heart, and the geek in me was so excited to indulge in forecasting weather today.
Let me give you a little example of how this went. I got to work this morning at 3:30 a.m.
First, I put together the forecast which you can always check
right here.
After that, I went over the news portion of our show. Then, it was off and running - live on Daybreak!
Speaking of running - I did a lot of it to alternate between the news desk and the weather set.
I'm still amazed I didn't trip over anything. I think
Chris Kline (of abc15.com fame) and
Corey Rangel were placing bets to see if I'd fall on my face in my haste.
Hey - it's not easy running in heels. However, I'm sure both Chris and Corey are quite disappointed - no spills.
Still - there's always tomorrow!
I'm wearing two hats again on Friday... so tune in for Daybreak starting at 5am!
In fact, here's a preview of the forecast: clear skies and a slight chance of an anchor tripping and falling on camera.
Cross your fingers for me that I don't. I don't want to have to blog about embarassing moments "caught on tape."
P.S. -- For the many Kaley O'Kelly fans - she'll be back soon, so don't worry.
