There's a certain feeling of relaxation that comes with the clock hitting 9 a.m.
That's when we get a brief moment of down time.
Actually, I didn't explain that very well.

It's not as though 9 a.m. hits and we have nothing left to do, for there is ALWAYS work to be done.
But, come 9 a.m., Rebecca and I can stop holding perfect posture in the anchor chairs. We can slip off the heels and exhale.
But just for a bit -- because there's prep work to finish for the next morning on Daybreak.
There are emails to send and phone calls to return. There are leads to chase and topics to be researched.
Still, there's a pleasant, small window of time that I enjoy, sitting at my desk, sipping cold coffee (it was hot at 4:30am), reflecting upon the morning, and relishing the feeling of relaxation.
And with that, my phone is ringing... news calls... and off I go!
