First of all - I have to say thanks so much to all the readers who've commented on all the various blog entries!
It's great to see the feedback and comments! On that note - I wanted to give a big "heads-up" to you readers, that some of your remarks are just too good not to share with the rest of the world.
So, from time to time, I (and probably Rebecca too) will be pulling little tidbits to read live on Daybreak. I'm willing to bet Daybreak viewers will get a big kick out of some of the thoughts you, the readers, have shared about being late for work and the like. I love 'em! Keep those comments coming!
Also, since I'm on a "taking care of business" roll - I'm working to snap those pictures of the Daybreak crew. I'll hand off the pictures tomorrow to
Chris Kline our intrepid web guru, to post sometime early next week.
Now, down to the blog of the day.
WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON WITH AIR TRAVEL?
I mean, talk about procrastination. The FAA gave the airlines a notice 2 years ago to take care of these maintenance issues. Now, all of a sudden, flights are grounded all across the nation while people's tempers are skyrocketing. Yikes.
I do have to play fair, though. The thing is, as someone who has to fly to get home to visit mom, I would much rather be safe in the air.
If that means grounding planes to take care of wiring concerns, etc, by all means, ground away.
It's the same with waiting in security lines at the airport. I'd rather wait in line and let the TSA employees do their jobs, then be shuffled through and face an emergency at 30,000 feet. I'm just saying.
