I've only seen a dead scorpion at my house and I'd like to keep it that way!</description></item><item><title>re: Scorpions in my house!</title><link>http://community.abc15.com/blogs/insidedaybreak/archive/2008/04/17/2903599.aspx#2907793</link><pubDate>Fri, 18 Apr 2008 15:17:04 GMT</pubDate><guid isPermaLink="false">4a3498be-96c0-439c-8ab2-1d22fe485af6:2907793</guid><dc:creator>Buddha</dc:creator><description>Being of the male persuasion I'm required, by law I believe, to be the one to handle all sorts of creepy crawlies that my wife and kids run across. &amp;nbsp;And just because I appear calm and collected on the outside, inside I'm screaming and jumping around just like the rest of them. &amp;nbsp;Scorpions are the freakiest creatures I've ever run across, and the fact that they help control the pest population doesn't even raise their value to me. &amp;nbsp;I'll give spiders the benefit of the doubt before deciding to kill or catch and release. &amp;nbsp;I've even been known to spare a fly or two, but IMHO the only good scorpion is a dead scorpion. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I found one in my boot, so now I religiously shake them out before I put them on. &amp;nbsp;My wife was picking up laundry and hand one fall out of the clothes and land on her arm, &amp;nbsp;she screamed so loud she lost her voice for a week. &amp;nbsp;And even with all the fact/opinions regarding cats and scorpions, our cat was even stung on her nose by one, and I honestly think it changed her personality.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I haven't seen the scorpion spray but I would definitely love to hear if it works or not. &amp;nbsp;I have, however, emptied an entire can of Raid on a scorpion and it just kept on a truckin' so I know that doesn't work. &amp;nbsp;I've been told many times, that the only way to &amp;quot;scorpion-proof&amp;quot; your house is to just remove its food supply. &amp;nbsp;But even then it's not a guarantee.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Hopefully the scorpion you encountered was just lost, and he tells his buddies to leave you alone since you spared his life and all. &amp;nbsp;Wishful thinking I know.&lt;br&gt;</description></item><item><title>re: Scorpions in my house!</title><link>http://community.abc15.com/blogs/insidedaybreak/archive/2008/04/17/2903599.aspx#2924234</link><pubDate>Tue, 22 Apr 2008 23:29:08 GMT</pubDate><guid isPermaLink="false">4a3498be-96c0-439c-8ab2-1d22fe485af6:2924234</guid><dc:creator>Sharon</dc:creator><description>Anyone who is not scared of scorpions need only watch &amp;quot;Appaloosa&amp;quot; starring Marlon Brando. &amp;nbsp;That was enough to scare me of scorpions!</description></item></channel></rss>
